Frank, Jr. was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 21st, 1944 to Parents Frank, Sr. and Angela (nee Lazzaro). Frank was pre-deceased by his parents. A large and deeply saddened extended family remains behind until the Lord calls us to be reunited, once again.
Frank leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend Rosy Burgess, and sisters Annette Russo (and husband Bill) and Linda (and husband Bob) Salvetti. In addition to his wife and sisters, Frank’s survivors include six children Frank D’Aprile III (wife Angela), Barbara-Ann D’Aprile, Marcelo Rapela, Andres (wife Luma) Tsakanias, Angeliki (fiancée Gabriel) Tsakanias and Antonios (wife Nina) Tsakanias as well as eight grandchildren, Lia D’Aprile, Jordan O’Brien, Elizabeth Austin, Nicolas Farmer, Alexis Tsakanias, Sofia Tsakanias, George Tsakanias and Francesco D’Aprile along with one great-grandchild, Julianne O’Brien.
Frank enjoyed a long and prosperous career in the industrial machinery field. His career has afforded him the opportunity to live all over the country. For many years, Frank was a Volunteer Fireman and valued helping others, community service and contributing positively to his community.
Frank enjoyed cooking, good food, spending time with his family, Italian Culture and his two loyal and loving dogs, Peaches and Hunter. Frank was an avid bowler and had perfect, 300 games to his credit.
