HENRY O. GONZALES
Born January 28, 1939 – October 26, 2019 passing at the tender age of 80 years old.
Originally of El Monte, California spending his final years in Fontana California with his daughter and family.
Henry married the love of his life Lucy Gonzales and together they shared 50 years of marriage having two beautiful children: Chris Armendariz and Yvette Suarez but the joy of their lives were their two granddaughters: Brizea Suarez and Talina Suarez.
Henry was a man that was full of life always with a positive outlook. He was a man that anyone can count on, he was a firm believer in a man’s word and always willing to help anyone in need. He instilled in his family to always be respectful and never forget where we come from. He loved and believed in spending time with family everyone in his family has memories of spending time with him and the many adventures that his brothers and sisters to nieces and nephews have shared.
Henry was an avid Boxing fan ever since his youth but also enjoyed Football. He loved going on long rides from the ocean to the mountains but to him it didn’t matter where he went so long as he was with his family his heart was full of joy. He was a man that enjoyed being involved in projects with his Son-n-law feuding back and forth but together always especially for those weekend Menudo breakfasts.
Henry always had a green thumb, he planted all the greenery at the La Puente Hills Mall when it opened. He would often tease his daughter as her thumb was not so green but would often bring her plants and trees for her home.
Every weekend he would look forward to having breakfast and spending quality time with his granddaughters, if one was not available on Saturday then he would take the other on Sunday. Always looking forward spending quality time with them after breakfast.
Most of all he would look forward spending time with his wife and taking her lunch to the Nursing home where she currently is.
Henry lived a life full of Joy and Happiness till the very end.
Henry is survived by his wife Lucy Gonzales and two children:
Yvette and Victor Suarez (son-n-law) Brizea and Talina Suarez (granddaughters)
Chris and Pauline Armendariz (daughter-n-law)
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday the 16th of November 2019 at 12 noon at Ingold Funeral and Cremation 8277 Juniper Ave, Fontana CA 92335.
