Diane Karaica

Diane Lynn Karaica, 71, of Fontana, passed away on May 31, 2018 in Riverside. She was born November 14, 1946 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Nicholas and Margaret Karaica. At the age of 7, Diane and her family moved to the San Bernardino county and spent most of her life in Fontana. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and worked in Occupational Therapy for 26 years, serving the patients at Casa Colina in Pomona, CA.
Diane was a creative person and liked spinning and weaving yarn. One of her favorite pass times was crocheting. She was an avid reader her whole life and has a fantastic book collection. Diane had an appreciation for nature and loved to watch shows or read about all animal life. She really loved and shared a kinship with spiders. She had a heart for dogs and loved Dobermans the most. Her special boy was “High Duke”.
Diane enjoyed visiting museums, gardens and events like the Renaissance Fair or animation festivals. She was very interested in Tarot cards and the esoteric arts. Diane had a love for unique jewelry and artisan crafts.
Her sense of humor was silly. She loved to laugh at movies like Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends and all who knew her.
Visitation hours will be 9 am to 11 am, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Ingold Funeral and Cremation in Fontana. The funeral service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.
