Frances Ann Allen

Frances Ann Allen passed away peacefully at St. Bernadine Hospital on March 4, 2024, at the age of 79.

She was born on November 18, 1944, in North Charleroi, Pennsylvania to parents Francis Edward Sheleretis and Derma Maria Gallagani.  She was a resident of the Inland Empire for over 50 years.  

She worked for more than 25 years for Rialto Unified School District as a school secretary and as a personnel tech at the district office.  She also worked at a title insurance company as a secretary in San Bernardino.  She was a very dedicated employee with a work ethic unsurpassed to none.

She especially enjoyed to crochet.  She was exceptionally talented at reading patterns and creating treasures for the ones she loved. She loved to gamble and to play the lotto.  She enjoyed Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and Little House on the Prairie.  She would snack on Doritos and sour cream and Coke while watching her favorite shows.  She also was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital for many years. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Sonya Allen-Martin of Rancho Cucamonga and son, John Allen of Yucaipa; three grandchildren, Rachel Marie, Ava Jewel, and Hudson Robert. Frances is preceded in death by her former husband, John Raymond Allen Jr.

A memorial service will be held off the coast of Southern California to celebrate the birthday of her eternity in the Spring.
