Jeffrey Walker

Jeffrey “JB” Byron Walker, 68 years old, from Fontana, passed away on August 24, 2022, in Fontana. He was born to Harriette Webb and Willard Walker on March 4, 1954, in Los Angeles.
After high school, Jeffrey attended college and went on to serve his country as a proud member of the United States Air Force.
38 years ago, Jeffrey met his soulmate, Delisa whom he shared 3 children, Krystle, Sherilyn and Christopher. Their life and marriage was built on their faith and family.
Jeffrey provided for his family by driving buses, shuttles and taxis. His favorite place to visit was Las Vegas because he enjoyed the casinos. Jeffrey appreciated the peace and serenity while fishing and he never passed up a good deal at the local yard sale.
Jeffrey was a devout Christian, a family man and an Air Force Veteran. He is lovingly survived by his wife Delisa Merrida-Walker; three children, Krystle Walker, Sherilyn Merrida, and Christopher Walker; 1 grandchild, Akil: four siblings, Glinda Harris, Carolyn Walker, Debbie Walker, and Reginald Walker, and a host of other family and friends who loved him. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother Harriette Walker, father Willard Walker, brother Gregory Walker and sister Alana Howard Winbush. In memory of Jeffrey, donations can be made to the Autism Society.
Funeral services will be as follows: Visitation will be 10am to 11am, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Ingold Funeral & Cremation in Fontana, with the funeral service beginning at 11am. The family will host a repast reception immediately following the service until 2pm at the funeral home's reception center. JB will be laid to rest with his brothers and sisters in arms at 1:45 pm, on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd Riverside.
