Luis Mendez

Luis Rey Mendez, 63, of Fontana, California, passed away June 11, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 25, 1954 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico to Enrique Mendez and Asuncion Garcia.
Luis met and married the love of his life Irma Patricia Mendez. Together they were blessed with 41 years of marriage.
Luis worked hard to provide for his family. He worked as a welder for Amro Fabricating Corporation.
On his down time, Luis loved watching his sports. He was an avid soccer fan of the Chivas and avid football fan of the Raiders. Luis loved spending time traveling with his wife. He will be lovingly remembered for his kindness towards others.
Luis is survived by his wife Irma Mendez; son Luis Mendez and daughter Perla Mendez. He is also survived by 12 grandkids and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation hours will by 4pm to 8pm, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Ingold Funeral and Cremation in Fontana.
