Maria Rosas

Maria Ernestina Rosas, 67, of Fontana, CA, passed away on September 7, 2021 at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA. Maria was born to Natividad Olmos and Baltaza Blanco on November 7, 1953 in Guerrero, Mexico. She spent her final 12 years in the San Bernardino County, calling Fontana home.
Maria met and married her soulmate, Ines Rosas. Together they shared 32 years of marriage. Their union was blessed with 10 children; Ines, Tomasa, Ana, Alma, Fidencio, Elizabeth, Judith, Juana, Guillermina and Cathy. With their growing family, Maria worked hard to help provide for her children. She worked for more than 20 years in the janitorial department of Fairview Development Center. Maria took pride in her work and was recognized for having the cleanest area at the center.
Maria was her happiest when she was spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and spoiled them often. Maria loved cooking and going to the casino to gamble (especially the Wheel of Fortune slots).
Maria is lovingly survived by her children Ines Jr. Rosas, Tomasa Rosas, Ana Ortiz, Alma Davila, Fidencio Rosas, Elizabeth Avila, Judith Rios, Juana Rios, Guillermina Rosas and Cathy Rosas. She is also survived by her 84 year old mother Natividad Olmos, 31 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids.
Visitation hours will be 3pm to 8pm, Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Ingold Funeral & Cremation in Fontana with Rosary at 6pm. A funeral service will be celebrated 9:30am, Monday, September 27, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Garden Memorial Park in Brea at 12 pm.
