Rita Yniguez Camacho

Our dear mother, Rita Yniguez Camacho, sadly lost her battle with cancer and passed away on
February 3, 2024. She was a devoted wife and mother who wholeheartedly loved her family.
She was always there when she was needed. She was predeceased by her infant daughter,
Maria Magdalena, husband of 45 years Salvador Camacho, and son Ramon Camacho. She is
survived by 7 children: Consuelo Camacho, Manuel Camacho, Salvador Camacho Jr., Enrique
Camacho, Martha Camacho-Kelly, Maria del Carmen McLaurin, and Albert Camacho, 28
grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. She is also survived by
two sisters, one brother, and countless nieces and nephews.

Rita was born in Placitas, New Mexico to Basilio and Cristina Yniguez. When she was two years
of age, the family moved to Fontana, CA where she, along with her siblings, was raised and
attended school. Her parents then moved to Mexicali, B.C. Mexico where she met the love of
her life and husband, Salvador. Shortly after marrying, they moved back to California and
eventually settled in Fontana where her family still lived.

Faith and family have always been the core of Rita and Salvador’s marriage. Rita loved to cook
and made a career working for the Rialto Unified School District as the main cook at the
district’s central kitchen. Rita was a wonderful cook and anyone that stopped to visit was not
allowed to leave with an empty stomach. To this day, no one can cook Mexican food as great
as she did. Rita will be remembered for her kindness and for the wonderful person she was.
She had a beautiful, loving soul. We find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the love of
her life and children.

Visitation services will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19 th at Ingold
Funeral and Cremation located at 8277 Juniper Ave., Fontana, CA 92335.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20 th at St. George Roman
Catholic Church located at 17895 San Bernardino Ave., Fontana, CA 92335.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. following the funeral service at Green Acres
Memorial Park located at 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316.

A reception will immediately follow the graveside service at Ayala Park Community Center
located at 17909 Marygold Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316 (behind the park).
