Theresa Milligan

Theresa passed away on January 6th at the young age of 90! She was born in Cahoes New York on October 12th 1925 to Joseph of N.Y. & Margaret Tousin Forget of Canada. Shortly after WWII ended she married Louis Marcil and had 6 children.
She moved from New York to California where she retired from Kaiser Hospital as a PTA. She lived in Fontana for nearly 60 Years. She was involved with American Legion Post 772, The Eagles lodge and the Old Timers Foundation. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Theresa was inspirational to many people, family, co-workers & friends! She was a seamstress, cake decorator and loved dancing including polka! She recently celebrated her 90th birthday party with family and friends! She had a long and wonderful life. She traveled the world, lived, laughed and loved with her whole being!
She leaves behind her loving husband Gene Milligan, Two sisters Jeanette Russett of Big Bear CA and Claire and husband William Van Alstyne of New York, her son James Marcil with wife Beverly of Arkansas, Three daughters, Judy with husband Steve Figueroa of San Bernardino CA, Janet with husband Everett Peck of Fontana CA and June Jackson of Hesperia CA. She had many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother- Fred Forget, Sister –Marie Donlon, Husbands- Louis Marcil, and Kenneth Huzzey, Daughter, Jane Tyson and Son, Joe Marcil.
The celebration of life will be held at Ingold Chapel January 25th 3pm-7pm. 8277 Juniper Ave, Fontana, CA 92335. Funeral will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church January 26th at 10:00am. 17220 Merrill Ave, Fontana, CA 92335. Burial will be at Montecito Memorial Park 11:30am 3520 E. Washington St, Loma Linda, CA 92354. Reception to follow at Knight of Columbus 1729 E Baseline St, San Bernardino, CA 92410. Everyone welcome!
